Pfizer Vaccine for Children ages 5-11 and adult boosters

The Family Resource Center at Franklin Pierce, Franklin Pierce Schools and Tacoma Pierce County Health Department are partnering to offer free COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 5-11 as well as adult boosters. The vaccine is not required for students, but will minimize the likelihood of needing to quarantine upon exposure. Sign up to a free vaccine below!

Info about the Vaccine:
On October 29, 2021, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized the emergency use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19 to include children 5 through 11 years of age. The vaccine was found to be 90.7% effective in preventing COVID-19 in children 5 through 11. The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for children 5 through 11 years of age is administered as a two-dose primary series, 3 weeks apart, but is a lower dose (10 micrograms) than that used for individuals 12 years of age and older (30 micrograms).
